The  Cultural Contact Center Project  (3CP) began as a theoretical project that contemplated the existence and importance of cultural resources within an organization.  It has since developed into a very tangible theory aimed at assessing  the cultural resources and assests of an institution, organization or program, and developing methodologies that encourage and promote positive interaction of those resources to benefit the institution's internal community and the external community in which it resides and/or serves.

This site is dedicated to the application of 3CP concepts in an academic setting (Academic Model) and explores the many cultural facets of such  institutions (colleges and universities) that often go unnoticed, underdeveloped, and underutilized.
Diversity of thought allows one to travel the world without ever leaving home.

Cultural contact, in its many forms, has works as an enhancement of all academic instructional areas from fine arts, geography, and English/foreign language acquisition to politics, history, and cultural studies. This concept is being explored on many levels and its application in the college and university setting  is believed to be a viable and functional utilization of institutional resources. Applications of this concept have the potential to enhance employee relations, encourage student participation, stimulate learning, increase community support, improve the retention of diverse student populations, and attract new students in growing communities.
